Logos - logic: facts, statistics, evidence, authority (Hard to argue against it because it's the truth) - less personal connection, boring Pathos - appeal to emotion, personal connection, strong response - lose credibility, less professional, too much turn people off Ethos - authority, credibility, character, people believe you, appear unbiased - lose focus of your argument The 3 elements need to be balanced and tied in equally in an argument.
